Hi, I’m Robert Magasi — a Senior VDI & End-User Computing Consultant based in Wetzikon, Switzerland, with 15 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting enterprise virtual desktop environments.
What I do
I work with organisations across the DACH region helping them build reliable, scalable, and secure EUC infrastructure.
My core stack includes:
- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, NetScaler/ADC, StoreFront, PVS, MCS, FAS
- Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365
- VMware Horizon and Omnissa
- IGEL OS and FSLogix
- Active Directory, PKI/SSL, PowerShell automation

The problems I enjoy most are the ones with no clean answer in the documentation.
This blog is where I write about what I’ve learned — the fixes, the architectural decisions, the honest platform comparisons. Written for engineers and architects who’d rather have a direct answer than wade through vendor marketing.

Background
I’ve been in the EUC space since 2010, working across Switzerland, Germany, and Austria with a wide range of enterprise clients. I’m currently employed as Senior VDI & EUC Consultant at Swisscom.
I’m multilingual — English, German, and Hungarian — which helps when working across the DACH region.
Outside of work I am a proud husband and father of two girls, manage a Hattrick football team, and maintain a homelab VDI environment at home (because apparently I don’t get enough of this at work).
